James first got the taste for web development back in 1999 when he developed his first client website, while studying for an Advanced GNVQ in Information Technology at Strode College in Street, Somerset. James then worked for a top 10 UK accounting plc as a web developer before leaving to study for a BSc degree in Internet Technologies and Applications at the University of Plymouth. He found his home here at Cognique in January 2007. James puts the magic into websites and web applications so that the sites Cognique develops for clients actually do what they want them to. He is equally at home developing web applications based on both the open source Apache/PHP/MySQL or Microsoft IIS/.NET/MS SQL stack, as well as WordPress, JQuery and Sharepoint development.
