We’re pleased to announce that at the end of 2008 we reached our target of planting over 100 trees on behalf on clients. In 2009 we’ll be part of printing.com’s efforts to plant over 50,000 trees!

We’re pleased to announce we have partnered with Tree Appeal to plant at least 100 British broad leaf trees throughout the UK during 2008. To meet this target we shall:
- Plant a tree for each of our clients (if you’re a client you can expect to receive a tree dedication certificate from us during 2008).
- Plant a tree for each website we create, to help offset carbon emissions from web hosting.
- Plant a tree for each major (greater than £500) graphic design, marketing or multimedia project.
- As part of a greater initiative, plant trees to help make our business carbon neutral.
Throughout the year we’ll keep you up-to-date with how many trees we’ve planted. Check back here during 2008!

Do you remember when summers seem to last forever rather than a weekend? When you felt a bit tipsy after sucking on your first cider lolly? And when playing cowboys and indians in the woods filled the long summer holidays. The woods may have now been replaced by Wiis for some children but thanks to 16 of our clients, there’s now another 59 trees to hide in. Children of all ages - run and play!

We have now dedicated 46 trees in total on behalf of 13 clients. That’s got to be at least a copse full! Did you know that the 5th June has been declared World Environment Day by the United Nations? With 35 trees now planted, we’re more than third of the way to our goal of planting 100 trees during 2008. Our thanks to our clients for their continued support without which we would probably be spending the money on new business direct mail instead - I know which I would rather have. : )

We’ve planted 11 trees in March on behalf of 9 clients for work undertaken during February. As last month we’re also planting a tree for ourselves. 23 trees planted, 77 to go!

We’ve now planted 10 trees on behalf of 5 clients for work undertaken during January. We also planted one tree for ourselves, to help off set some of the carbon caused from operating our extranet server around the clock. 11 trees planted, 89 to go!
