Engineering Energy identity, stationery, website

Challenge

Facilities management business Engineering Energy initially approached Cognique for a quote to print business cards. During a discussion about the business goals it became clear there was a disparity between how the company currently portrayed itself and its ambition to become a nationwide challenger to more established competitors in its sector.

Solution

Cognique offered to develop three logo concepts on a speculative basis to demonstrate how the client could be repositioned to close the gap on its competitors by portraying itself more professionally. The Managing Director of Engineering Energy, Lee Coombes, was initially skeptical of the logo concepts however he agreed to show them to existing clients to gain their feedback. Existing clients were strongly in favour of one of the new logo concepts, so this was developed before being applied to a range of stationery which was also printed by Cognique.

With no existing web presence, Cognique also worked with Engineering Energy to develop a simple website which would communicate the client’s expertise and the range of services provided.

Outcome
