Filofile website
Challenge
Following a decision to part company with its business partner, a prominent and successful West Country document and records management company needed to establish a new name and identity and communicate this to its existing client and prospect base within three months.
Solution
Cognique first worked closely with Managing Director Simon Barber on finding a new name. Research was undertaken into domain name availability, search engine results, competitors and client/prospect familiarity with the existing name. From this process and Simon’s inspiration, the name Filofile was born.
Following a number of exploratory meetings a brief for the website was established. The site needed to address the needs of three groups:
- Prospects not using an off-site document storage facility
- Prospects already using a competitor’s off-site document storage facility
- Existing clients, including simplifying the workflow for ordering
A number of visuals were prepared and then adjusted following feedback from the client. The website was then developed, with content management functionality, to match the visuals pixel for pixel. Following feedback from Filofile staff, the client requests functionality was enhanced to allow more options for retrieval, collection and ordering. Once the site was approved Google Analytics was added before going live.
Outcome
“We needed a site which could be used for enquiries and information as well as for existing clients. It was important this had a clean, friendly and contemporary feel. Again, the work has been admired by all who have seen it. The functionality of the client request page has been tested, and its use will be rolled out to all the client body.
