The Swan Hotel Wells email marketing

Challenge

The Swan Hotel Wells was keen to track and improve the response from its email offers sent out to almost 4,000 customers and prospects each month using Microsoft Outlook.

Solution

Cognique designed an email offers template which could be updated and sent on a scheduled basis by the hotel’s marketing team through a hosted email marketing system. This solution also allowed the client to track recipient activity such as click-throughs, forwards or unsubscribes for the first time. Cognique also imported the client’s marketing database into the system and provided training on its use and reporting capabilities.

Outcome

“All our emails campaigns have worked a hundred times better than previously. The best one so far was our Cathedral Concert Package which was a sell-out thanks to the email campaign. We have also done well with our October special and the most recent one ‘Affordable Excellence’ means our bar and lounge are now busy for lunch and supper.”
