SEO Executive
Cognique, are a dynamic digital marketing agency and we’re looking for an experienced SEO Executive to join our team. In this full-time role, you’ll develop and implement SEO strategies to boost organic traffic for a variety of client websites, as well as our own.
You’ll need a strong grasp of search engine algorithms and best practices, with the ability to optimise content for maximum performance. The role involves managing multiple accounts across different sectors, implementing technical SEO, developing keyword strategies, and performing website audits. You’ll also track performance, analyse competitors, and identify growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have SEO management experience, a solid understanding of technical SEO, keyword research, and content strategies. Proficiency in GA4, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines are essential.
Here’s what you’ll do
- In-depth website and SEO audits, data gathering, benchmarking and competitor research
- Track and analyse website traffic, user intent, behaviour and campaign performance
- Carry out SERP analysis, keyword research and gap analysis
- Monitor and report on relevant/agreed KPIs, such as keyword rankings, SERPs, click-through rates and conversion rates
- Perform regular website audits to monitor, identify and fix any technical SEO issues
- Develop and implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve website visibility and rankings
- Collaboratively work with our in-house Content Writer, optimising content for client websites
- Proactively find innovative ways to boost all campaign performance
- Keep a close eye on SEO related industry trends, algorithm updates and emerging technologies, including Ai and adjust strategies where necessary
- Deepen your learning and develop your skills with relevant conferences, training sessions and webinars (funded by us)
- Share your knowledge with the team and our clients
Here’s what you’ll have
- A minimum of 2 years commercial SEO experience
- Proven experience in SEO research and management
- In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, SEO best practice and relevant analytics tools
- Ability to apply research to ‘thinking outside the box’ and deliver higher levels of marketing innovation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- First class organisational skills and an ability to prioritise
- Full UK driving licence
