Company rebrand for Remous Print

Company re-brand for Remous PrintRemous Print, a family run company in Sherborne approached Cognique for a company rebrand. Their existing brand and identity had served them well over the past 30 years, but now they felt it was time for a change, time to re-position themselves in the print market and time to show the public what the could really do.

The brief was simple, they wanted to be modern, stand out in the competitive print industry, and to portray the wide range of services they have to offer. They didn’t just want to be known as a printer who could print a leaflet, or a booklet, they wanted their customers to know that they could help them with the whole process, from design, to print with some amazing eye-catching finishing touches, all the way through to warehousing and fulfillment.

Playing around with different shapes, colours and fonts, we presented the client with three different logo concepts, and with very few minor tweaks the final logo design was chosen (which you can see above right). The use of vibrant colours, a modern crisp font and the strapline ‘Print with a difference’ helped to position Remous Print above their competitors from a visual perspective.

With the identity out of the way, we moved on to designing a 16 page company brochure to emphasise the re-brand. Each double page spread focused entirely on a different service, accompanied with some vibrant and eye catching photography, and some awesome finishing touches to help give the pages that extra wow factor such as foiling, embossing, spot UV varnish etc. The brochure was used to mail out to existing clients to make them aware of the company re-brand and to educate them on everything Remous print have to offer.
