New website is key for future growth of Agricultural Society

Established over 150 years ago, the Mid-Somerset Agricultural Society exists to support the mid-Somerset farming community. The society hosts many fund-raising events, one of which is the Mid Somerset Show – the largest free agricultural show in the South West.

Sponsorship, membership and fundraising are vital to the survival of the society and it was decided (quite rightly) that a new website would be instrumental in reaching a modern audience.

New website helps improve marketing

Tasked with the administration of trade stand entries, corporate sponsorship and new membership sign-ups, Show Secretary Christine Barham has her hands full.

A new website would save her time as well as give her the perfect platform to update existing customers and attract new prospects. Because Christine was already familiar with WordPress CMS (Content Management System) she could immediately start marketing to her customers.

New website for Mid-Somerset Show

The new website is highly visual and uses plenty of vibrant photography designed to engage visitors immediately. News articles, FAQ’s and useful information (including a countdown to show day and live weather feed) help make sure that visitors find everything they need to plan their show visit.
