New trade website stacks up for SFL Flues & Chimneys

Barnstaple based SFL Flues & Chimneys has been manufacturing chimney systems for domestic, commercial and industrial markets for 45 years, and are considered to be the premier choice by specifiers, installers and homeowners.

Although the business already had a trade website there were a number of issues with it, including a lack of support for mobile devices, difficult to update and lacking in additional functionality now required by the manufacturer. Having successfully launched new websites for Stamm International sister businesses, Powrmatic UK and Powrmatic Ireland, Cognique were approached by SFL’s marketing manager Ben Gibbs to develop a new content managed website to solve these problems and give the organisation a modern and fully functional web presence.

Trade website functionality

While the design of the website speaks for itself, the good looks are also backed up by custom trade functionality to help SFL work more easily with its distributors and installers. Both types of customer benefit from their own areas where they access specific information. In addition installers can also register warranties and promotional claims online.
